Automatically stamp new photos on Flickr
If it is indeed useful for photographers to stamp their Flickr photos for extra proof, it would help if you could just get imagestamper to scan your profile or perhaps be pinged for updates and keep adding them automatically.

Thanks, great suggestion! My first thought is to offer scanning of user-supplied Flickr RSS feeds and automatically stamping updates.

Batch Stamping
Allow users to submit a list of URLs to be stamped, or pull from their favorites (Starred photos).

Thanks, definitely added to the list of features!

Output lists of stamps to standard file formats (CSV, XML)
It would be nice to be able to use information about my stamps in other contexts without having to scrape it out of the HTML.

Thanks, I’ve seen that it had to be done manually here:

which must have been a real pain! I’ll definitely add this to the list of the new features. -

Make the timestamp permalink easier to find for each image
It's hard for some people to find the timestamp permalink for each image. Right now you have to click on the image thumbnail to see the image details page and then copy the link from there; this can be improved.

Simple solution: added a link to timestamp permalink(s) underneath each image. Right now different timestamps for the same image are grouped together, so the respective permalinks are listed on a separate ‘image detail’ page. I will add a view that does not group timestamps, so the permalinks will be directly accessible. This ties in with the planned site overhaul.

Support stamping of Wikimedia Commons images.
Many images on Wikimedia Commons list Creative Commons licenses, and, just like with flickr, having a way to prove that would be invaluable for commercial users.

automatically import tags
Automatically add the Flickr tags for the image into the ImageStamper entry for the image to make searching a LOT easier.

I'd really like the ability to export images with author-title, e.g. by-username-clouds.jpg
I want to be able to very easily maintain the author for attribution and retain the title of the work, but Flickr saves as a random string. If each image was saved/exported as by-username-title-of-work.jpg I'd have a whole lot of information maintained automatically. Flickr's not likely fix this, but you could certainly help, since you have the metadata. By the way, I'd pay for the service.

Import from Flickr account
It would be great to have an import option (similar but different to the automatic update idea), where it connects to flickr account (you need to give auth from Flickr, like those WP plugins) and updates all the CC from your account photos.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just wondering why you would want to give ImageStamper your password to access your photos? Is this to timestamp images before they are available to the public?

This is now well underway, there should be a cleaner and a more convenient user interface in a couple of weeks’ time!
